AL5 Bank registers the first PIX keys developed by DB1 team

We registered the first PIX keys with total transparency. Faced with the arrival of PIX, Brazil’s instant electronic payment method, AL5 Bank sought to register the first keys during the restricted operation phase, which was from November 3RD to 15TH, 2020. DB1 Global Software took care of the entire process of deploying PIX to AL5 Bank. Check out the details of this mission.

More speed for AL5 Bank customers when paying and receiving

PIX: the challenge of deployment and the race for the first keys

Created by the Central Bank (BC, Banco Central) as Brazil’s instant payment method, PIX allow funds to be transferred between accounts in a few seconds, at any time of the day.

Although it is thought to be practical, fast, and safe, its deployment is fraught with challenges for financial institutions. Many of them were not able to accredit themselves to PIX because they did not meet the minimum requirements in this first phase of homologation of PIX with the Central Bank.

AL5 and DB1: Confidence that already comes from other projects

AL5 Bank’s relationship with DB1 Global Software began thanks to the demand to develop an app for the management of consigned credit. DB1 has extensive experience in this market through Consignet, a company in the group specialized in automation of consignments and payroll-discounted benefits.

AL5 Bank already had an application to assist its customers in making transfers, balance queries, and loan requests, but it was necessary to improve the functionalities of the app and make a quality leap in the platform.

Improving design with a focus on user experience

With the arrival of DB1 to the project, it was possible to improve the application through a UX analysis that mapped the need for the development of new features, including security features and digital certificate. The entire app environment was reformulated. Features added to the AL5 Bank app included clipboard for other banks and improved user experience.

According to David Santos, Executive Director and CEO of DB1 Global Software, the project being developed with AL5 Bank demonstrates the company’s commitment to the latest software development and project management methodologies. “In our mission to be the transformative extension of the customer, we create on-demand software on the latest technologies and have a team with high technological competences, with the mission to provide impactful deliveries and help our customers become even more competitive,” he explains.

Transparency for all: AL5 and customers

With the application made by DB1, it is possible for the AL5 Bank customer to have full visibility and monitor the transparency of the process in the creation and portability of their PIX key from one financial institution to another. In many other banks, this process is unclear or ends up generating errors and inconsistencies.

For Patrícia Michelli Alves De Lima, Financial Administrative Director of AL5 Bank, the excellence in DB1’s work processes was fundamental to the success of the project. “The work methodology and the technical quality of the DB1 squad responsible for creating the application, ended up giving us peace of mind throughout the process.”
